Whether you’re looking for a serious commitment or simply want to learn something new and have fun while doing it, there’s nothing more important than being taught by an experienced Music Teacher. I’ve been offering my services to people of all ages in the San Francisco area since 2016, and I’m here to give you the personalized attention you deserve so that you can reach your full potential. I like to mention that I am not a part of any big company, it's just me, working to make a living doing what I love to do, playing music and sharing my knowledge of music with people. I work independently but use the resources available at Music City so that my students can have space to make noise and play as loudly as they want. I have been playing guitar for about 25 years and Drums for about 20 years.

At Your Service
My name is Ruben Quinones and I teach one-on-one lessons for Guitar, Drums, or Bass as Rhubarb Music at a studio space at Music City, SF, (a local rehearsal and performance space). I live with my wife and daughter on Alameda Island and I enjoy teaching theory, technique, song writing approaches, and song application for music. I can play and teach about music in many different genres, but am most fluent in: Rock, Surf, Punk, Pop, Hardcore, Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Psychedelic, Thrash Metal, Emo, Doom Metal, Melodic Death Metal, Hip-Hop, Big Beat Techno, Trance, Ska, Reggae, Bluegrass, Folk, Funk, Classic Rock, and Fusion-Jazz.
